first day...

this year is a big year for school for us. we will have a 2nd grader,  full day kindergartener and 4 day preschooler!! i can't believe that its gong to be just lydia and i at home. i guess now i have no excuse to not catch up on the laundry. i am actually a little sad to have summer over, but it is soooooo hot here and there is little that we can do with our sweet baby. it will be nice to get back to a routine.

it was so cute to see "the guys" getting ready for school (ceci calls anthony & wes "the guys"-its darling!). weston was a little nervous and anthony was the perfect big brother, being so protective and telling him all the AWESOME things about kindergarten. watching them walk up to school with their big backpacks was another crazy moment. i kept thinking to myself that my kids are getting tooo big tooo fast!

the first day of school is so exciting and fun...if there are no tears! unfortunately, we had some tears, but the tears were from cecily. she was so so sad that "the guys", were leaving her. she wanted to join them at school and play. it was the sweetest thing i ever saw. 

luckily cecily started preschool the next day. she was missing those guys. she goes monday - thursday for 3 hours a day. perfect for her &  i. she is so ready and so bored at home. when i dropped her off she said, "mom just leave k!" it was really funny. so sassy that one.

 little did she know...i was really excited to take her. :)
