powder puff 2010...

i played in a super bowl powder puff game a while ago and just got some pictures back of it. it was seriously one of the funnest things and the most painful things i have ever done...next to the wasatch back i guess! anyways, totally took me back to oly high and the powder puff days...excpet more violent if you can imagine that! these girls were serious and brutal. i was afraid i was going to going to really hurt. they painted the driving range on the golf course and made a football field. complete with bleachers, music, an announcer, all the concessions. it was awesome. here is how it played out...

i am laughing so hard as i am posting. it is so funny & silly, but it was so so fun.

i totally have to say though that i had 2 interceptions and the 2 touchdowns!!

of course cecily was the halftime entertainment...dancing to "all the single ladies"

st. patty's day...

happy green day!

this year we went crazy for the leprchans! we started with green pancakes with green oj.

snack was green apples with lucky green dip washed down with leprechan juice! we also made green sugar cookies when our friends came by.

dinner for the kiddos was leprechans favorite green macaroni and cheese, green cinnamon roll & the leprechans brought them green rice crispy treats! Mom & dad had date night later and ate yummy rumbi on the way to ward temple night!
i had to throw this picture in below. it was time for her nap and she didn't not want to go to bed and throw a total fit. she really wanted more candy and all i said was "no!"

it was really fun getting into the holiday with the kids. they loved it. we made a lot of treats and went through almost an entire bottle of green food coloring...hope there are no side effects! i am sure you all had a very happy st. patty's day!

ouch...

our poor cecily fell off our bed and clipped the edge of the nightstand. it was such a deep cut and quite traumatic. i totally lost my normal calmness and was a complete crazy person. she was bleeding so much from her face and you coudn't tell where the blood was coming from. we rushed her to the hospital and our baby got her first set of stitches!:(

they had to papoose her to give her the stiches and it was the sadest thing i have seen. she was so scared and just wanted us to hold her. corb couldn't even watch. she kept just saying "daddy, i go home!" so so sad!

she got stitches, but hopefully it won't leave to bad of a scar!
