i can't believe it but we are moving to arizona! corbin was offered a job in scottsdale and he accepted it. corbin is from cali and has always wanted to move out of state since we have been married. when the opprotunity came he couldn't help but talk me into it.
i think that we will try to move to gilbert. i have several great friends that live there and corbin has a fabulous cousin that i just love that is there too. although it won't be the same, everyone says that gilbert is like a salt lake in arizona!
i am so sad to leave but i will be home often to visit and probably for an entire month in the summer because it is so hot in arizona. corbin has also promised me a house with plenty of rooms and a special guest room for all of you to come and visit. of course we have to sell our house and find a house in AZ, but i think it is going to be quite the adventure for our family.

WHAT!!!!!!! really i am so excited for you, but so sad too! jason is from cali and then lived in az for 4 yrs before moving here. they lived in gilbert and he loved it! lots of great people and great wards(he says!) the good news is we still go visit gilbert friends, so now you will be added to our list! im excited for corbin and his new job...and golfing all year round would make any guy thrilled! i cant wait to talk to you about this...congrats again!
This is such exciting news!!! I just got back from Phoenix today and had such a great time!!! Arizona seems like a great place to live. We'll have to chat!

Allow me to be the third person to tell you how sad I am that now there isn't the remotest possibility of maintaining our friendship in person. And to think how close we have come to seeing each other in person over the past 3 or 4 years. At this rate the 10 year reunion is our only hope until...I can't even think of when I'm going to be in AZ, so we'll see 2030. Hopefully facebook is still up and going at that point.

oh my gosh I am so sad but I am really happy for you guys. I love Arizona and we think about moving there all the time. My in laws have a second home there and in the winter we go lots so can't wait to visit you! Happy house hunting!
Melissa....I am almost in tears as I read that you guys are moving. I am so happy for you guys, what an adventure but I am so sad for us....and our 5 man playgroup, it just won't be the same without you.

Grandpa and I are very very sad not to have you and the wonderful grand children to see at family get together's. We had so much fun seeing you all, the last two Sundays in a row. Oh Meliss, cecily is so BEAUTIFUL! I love all of the pictures Janelle took and the darling pictures from her blessing. She is so cute, I'm so bummed we were sick when we were supposed to get together. And, WHEN are you moving? How great for you guys. You are going to love Gilbert, it is fabulous. I am bummed though that you will be gone when we move back. What a fun adventure...and closer to Cali :). Are you still coming for a wedding next month??

Sorry I missed the play group it was during Ashlyn's school. I have so many questions for you though. What in the world... you are moving!?! What are we going to do with out you? Have you found a house? Have you sold yours? How is the little princess doing? More importantly how are you doing? What type of job did your hubby take? Anyways we need to have a going away party or something, eventhough it wont really be a celebration that your leaving us! Tell Meg to come hang with Jen and I when she misses you and wants to go crazy.

Man...I have to add to this reel of comments. So I innocently visit your blog to check up on beautiful baby Cecily and I get this news!!! Noooooo! I don't see you enough as it is and this will just make it worse! :) But on a different note I always have wanted to move somewhere where it is warm all year round so I think you will love Arizona for that reason. :) It will be a good bonding time for your little family and luckily you're not too far that we can't all get together, right? Well, I'm happy that Corbin has a new job and it will be an exciting chapter in your lives. :) Love ya Melba.

Melissa, you are so cute! I have to admit that I have linked to your blog on several occasions. Your baby girl is so beautiful and I LOVE her name. My dad's name is Cecil and one day I might have to still her name and so I can name her after my dad. Good luck with the move. Hope to see you soon!
