this guy...

even though it's his special day, he cooked dinner, cleaned the house, and took care of all the kids!
i am so lucky to have this guy as the father of my four kids.

{he did get a little nap today while holding his fathers day gift this year!}

happy fathers day corby. xo

my last pregnancy...

i am finally having this baby tomorrow at 9am!

corbin says this is the biggest i have ever been...i agree...so we had to document. this pregnancy has been so different than any of the other 3. i don't know if it was because i was older, living away from family, chasing 3 kiddos around, or just because like is crazier.  whatever the reason...its my last pregnancy.

i don't think i have ever been the type to post preggy pictures and these are just snap shots but thought they are hilarious because i am so gigantic

...don't judge...

this week i had my last ob appointment...yay no more weigh ins!
tonight i am going to have my last uncomfortable sleepless night on my back...i am a tummy sleeper.
my family will hopefully never have to worry about my crazy mood swings and lack of total patience for a extended period of 9 months.
i will never again crave to eat the laundry deteregent...i have a super iron deficiency.
food will finally taste good, the smells of foods that i used to love will not make me want to puke.

from now on i will finally have my body back. i hopefully will never have to watch my body grow in the oddest places and without any control. crossing my fingers, hoping that with hard work, i will always feel like myself, physically and emtionally.

with all that being said...i am a little sad too! knowing it is the last i know that...

tomorrow will be the last time i get to be in the hospital and enjoy the newborn baby experience.i love love love the hospital...kindof want to check in for a couple of weeks. plus i hear this hospital i'll deliver at in az is fabulous, it has room service!
this week will be the last time i bring a baby home from the hospital. i love the way our house feels when the new baby comes home. there is nothing better than having a new baby in your home.
i will never feel the sweet kicks and flutters of a growing baby.
this baby will be the last baby i will get to nurse, i get to nest, and do all things newborn.
i am just really sad that every milestone that this baby has will be our last.

i am super conflicted about this decision, but i know that for our family and for my sanity four is our magic number. i am going to just soak up every minute of this last experience of pregnancy and can't wait to see and meet this last baby. she is so special to us already. see ya later!

will she regress...

so this girlie is about have her world completely rocked and it's starting to show. this is how i found her today while watching tv. at first glance she looks just darling and peaceful, but if you look closer she is sucking her thumb!!! she started sucking her thumb a few weeks ago just when she was tired, but with everyday it seems to get worse and worse. she has never never ever sucked her thumb ever. she did take a binks when she was a baby, but never her thumb. when it first started we started saying "only babies suck their thumbs...you are a big girl!" the problem is i think she is wanting to be the baby! duh!

i love her so much and it is so conflicting having a new baby. i know that there is enough love but i hope that cecily feels it and knows that in no way are we replacing her.

poor anthony...

anthony had to have an EEG last month because he been having seizures since he was 3 years old.  his seizures were always fever realated and so they diagonosed him to have febrile seizures. the problem is that he should have grown out of them by the time he was 5 years old...he just turned 7.

to get a great reading on the test we had to keep anthony up all night...without any caffiene! the idea is that if they stay up all night, by the time they have their test, they will fall alseep to sweet slumber. it was absolutely miserable for us and him. it started off fun because we played video games and ate junk like candy and ice cream, but soon got really aweful around 2am. at 6am anthony and i went to breakfast but we were too tired and slightly nausous to eat anything. it was all worth it because he fell fast asleep within seconds of getting all the gadgets attach to his head and the tests all came back totally normal and everything is really positive. they are not sure why he is still having seizures but for now he is a perfectly healthy 7 year old boy.

here are some pictures from my phone. just as a warning, he was really tired and a little scared...me too! the pictures are a lot more dramatic than it was in real life...poor guy.
